Business Challenge

Manual processes, paper-based records and disparate platforms for communication were hampering productivity. Moreover, the business processes at the company’s Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Macau and Japan centers were functioning in silos; a digitally interconnected Workflow Optimization and Business Automation solution would enable the organization to efficiently handle local and overseas business in growing volumes.

The Solution

Applying different analytical models, Mayuresh made a current state assessment of the business. Envisioning a digital process and service delivery mechanism, he proposed a new system architecture that aimed at substantially improving workplace efficiency and enhancing the user experience (UX). As a key member of the Capability Development Grant project team, Mayuresh helped the client to achieve demonstrable productivity enhancements from the proposed solution.

Increasing 'Bandwidth'

The  Client

A hair & beauty studio engaged in the skin care business that specializes in acne and post-acne treatments. Serving Singapore patrons for 32 years, the center cured its 100,000th patient for acne and post-acne scarring in 2014. They wanted to create unique brand positioning and widen their customer base to expand business.  

Business Challenge

Focusing on skin safety, the company launched an exclusive Anti-Whitening formulation treatment in 2016. It was a successful innovation, contributing to 60% of total sales. Aiming at new market segments, now the company aimed at achieving 90% sales and creating a hybrid franchise model. However, the existing brand structure and marketing setup was inadequate to support the company’s objectives.  

The Solution

Working as lead brand strategist, Mayuresh steered the Brand Positioning, Brand Architecture and Market Strategy project. Through Desk Research, Market Research, Online Market Research and Brand Development & Marketing Roadmap, his team breathed new life into the brand and rolled out successful cross-media campaigns.

The  Client

An established LSP (Logistics Services Provider) from Singapore.

Business Challenge

After taking strong roots locally, the family business was looking to expand its operations in Singapore and overseas, but were constrained by the following concerns: 

  • Owing to manual processes, the firm was finding it challenging to efficiently handle growing local and overseas business volumes 
  • The fleet capacity management was another concern as sometimes the lorries were not utilised at full-load capacity.
  • A mobile-enabled Logistics Management and Application Development with Administrator Backend system had become mission critical 

 The Solution

Coming on board as an Expert Singapore Certified Management Consultant (ESCMC), Mayuresh made a critical review of the company’s existing processes and workflows. Working as a nodal resource, he created a robust business plan and a powerful techno-commercial proposal. Making out a strong case for the client, he guided both the client and the IT systems vendor at each step of the application development process; his expert intervention turned the proposition into a qualifying project, eventually leading to approval from Enterprise Singapore.
